Insurance Restoration
Insurance Restoration
Insurance companies love for homeowners to file claims on their own. True Home is your advocate to make sure you get the most out of your policy. It takes an expert trained eye to make sure no natural damages go unaccounted for. If True Home suggests filing a claim, we hold your hand through the entire process A to Z.
At True Home Hawaii, we can guarantee the insurance process will run smoother and quicker, allowing you more time to spend surfing waves and less time surfing the internet for answers.

Inspection and Agreement
Our roofing experts will inspect your home’s roof for free, examining carefully for qualifying wind damage. Once our team has completed their assessment and taken photos, we’ll share our findings with you and compile a comprehensive report.
Before we take the next steps, we’ll ask you to sign an agreement form. This agreement states that you allow us to represent you when meeting with your insurance provider and have approved True Home Hawaii to perform the necessary work at the cost your insurance is willing to pay.
Filing the Claim and Approval
If your project manager suggests filing a claim, he will help you do so. Once the claim is filed, your insurance will schedule an adjuster to assess natural damage. Your project manager should be present when the insurance adjuster arrives, to ensure nothing is overlooked and to justify all damages.
Pending approval, you will then receive something called a “scope of work”—everything that your insurance is willing to pay for. Your project manager will review and make sure you receive the necessary coverage you deserve—at the very most, you will only have to pay your deductible. Once approved, your insurance company will send you two checks, half to get started and half when complete.
Design and Build
The fun part of any home renovation project is the design conversation! Your project managers will discuss your many options with you, including decisions about your roof’s color, material, and any special requests. Insurance will pay to restore your roof to pre-storm condition, but there are multiple options, warranties, or upgrades to choose from if you prefer.
Then, the build begins! Timelines vary based on the weather conditions, volume of the project, and material availability; however, we will schedule your restoration in as timely a manner as possible.
Final Inspection
When the roofing restoration is complete we will perform a final walk-through to ensure your standards have been met and renovations are up to city code. We then close the claim and ask your insurance for final payment.
Trust in Us
At True Home Hawaii, we pride ourselves on our ability to advocate for our community members when they go up against the insurance companies. We strive to be Oahu’s #1 roofing company by truly caring for our friends and neighbors on the island. If you loved your experience with our team, we’d love to talk to you about our $250 referral incentive!
